Aaron L Baylis

On Monday, August 5, 2019 the Angel of Grace and Mercy called Aaron Lovell Baylis home; to a life in everlasting arms of Jesus Christ his lord and savior. Aaron was born to Royal James Johnson and JoAnn Baylis on December 5, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended the Kansas City School District at Southeast High School. He went on to attend job corps in Excelsior Springs and became a professional painter. He also attended Wright Career Business School.

Aaron accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Community Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Clifford Wayne Bell. His nickname was Hebrue, because he all of the Hebrew scripture content. He loved the scripture “I will never leave you nor forsake you” and stood on that! Hebrue was a Jack of all trades; painter, roofer, cook, dancer, mechanic, plumber, gospel rapper, R&B, and a comedian with a great sense of humor. He loved his family tremendously, especially his grandma Charlene. He said he don’t think he live without her, she spoiled him worse than I did. His awesome love for his daughter Monica and his six grandchildren is absolutely amazing. He had many friends, coworkers, numerous cousins on both sides of the family that he loved and cherished. His family was all he had (As He Put It). He knew we loved him no matter what.

He was preceded into death by his stepfather; Luther Charles Beaver, maternal grandmother; Charlene Lee, grandfather; Henry Hank Baylis, Sr., paternal grandparents; Cefous Alexdria and Mary Johnson Alexandria, niece; LaNaye “NuNu” Baylis, brother; Donald B. Baylis, aunt; Carmen “Peaches” Baylis, uncles; Darrell Baylis, Sr., Joseph Johnson, Donald Johnson, Cefous Alexandria.  

Hebrue leaves to celebrate his memory his daughter; Monica, four grandchildren; twins Brandel and Brandon, Brashawn, Quayshon, two granddaughters; Marianna, Davionna, mother; JoAnn Beaver, father; Royal Johnson, brother; Anthony E. Baylis, two sisters; Tanika M. Baylis, Tamara Baylis,  uncle; Donald Lee Baylis (Meredith), Henry Baylis Jr., aunt; Shelia E. Baylis, great uncle; Robert Lee Baylis, aunts; Renee Bennett (Clarence), Yvette Baylis-Leap, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
