Terry L Mitchell

Terry L. Mitchell born July 19, 1960 in Kansas City Mo to the union of Janie Mae Riley and Fred Evans. He attended Manuel (Westport) High school in Kansas City Mo. After high school he was a certified cook at The Granfalloon on The Country Club Plaza where he served the greater Kansas City for many years. He later ventured out into Carpentry with his Uncle James Oscar. He also had his own lawn service. Terry was united in holy matrimony to Violet Watts to this Union 3 children were born. This marriage dissolved. He later married Rosella Brooks to this union no children were born. 

Like many of us that resided at 3421 Paseo, Terry had the love and goodness of Velma Lee Malone (Our Grandmother). Her legacy lived through him and continues to live through those that had the pleasure to know her. Terry departed this life at age 59 on October 29th, 2019 at Research Medical Center. 

He was preceded in death by his father Fred Evans, siblings Fredrick Mitchell, Maureen Riley, Willie Mitchell, Thurman Mitchell, Byron Henderson and daughter Tiffany Watts. 

He is survived by his wife Rosella Mitchell, 5 children Chevonda Nelson, Terry Watts, Tyron Watts, Tiera Mitchell and Ronika Brooks, his mother Janie Mae Riley four siblings Janice Nunn, Carolyn (Tina) Mitchell, Kevin Evans, James Riley Jr, Darryl Evans and Mike Evans, 21 grandchildren and a host of relatives and close friends.
