Izernatha Siree Stigger, Sr., 77, passed away on August 1, 2019 at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on April 17, 1942 in Crocket Bluff, Arkansas to Booker Stigger, Sr., and Ida (Gamber) Stiggers. Siree was one of eleven children, and attended Emanuel High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He completed the 9th grade. As he was growing up, he helped his father by picking cotton.
He married Jo Ann Walker in 1960 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He later married Rose Aldridge on August 28, 1971 in Richardson, Missouri.
Siree left Arkansas at the age of 18 and moved to Kansas City, Missouri. He got a job working as a cook, and he also worked delivering furniture. Siree started working for Miller Materials as an 18-wheel truck driver, which he enjoyed for 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed life and being around his family and friends.
He joined Southside Christian Church in 2003 and was a faithful member until his illness. He opened the church during the elections for 10 years. Siree was a member of the Noble Neighbor Community for 25 years. He had a great sense of humor that his family and friends will miss.
He is preceded into death by his parents; Booker Sr and Ida Stigger, five siblings; Willie, John, Booker Jr, Izo, and Minnie, one son; Siree(Champ), one granddaughter; Constance, and onw great granddaughter; Trinity.
He is survived by two daughters; Wylanda and Jerrica, seven sons; Anthony, Terry, Dennis, Eric, Armondo, Antonio, and James, three sisters; Della White, Alice Hatch, and Ida Henderson, two brothers, Sterling and Elmur, 43 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
