Rena Denise Wells, 57, was born December 7, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to James Wells, Sr., and Claudia Lee Wells.
Rena was educated in the Kansas City School District. She worked at Superior Linen, she also worked at Hampton Hotel as a supervisor and before her death she worked at the Kansas City Royals stadium as a prep cook for 5 years, she loved her job there.
Rena accepted Christ at an early age. She loved singing and dancing. Her favorite color was Red. She was very passionate about her children. Rena was a very giving person, she enjoyed her “Rest and Relaxation”. She just lived her life to the fullest. Her favorite saying was “ Who Do’s That” ?
Rena Wells went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
She was preceded into death by her loving mother, Claudia Lee Wells; two sisters, Maxine Wells, Thelma Wells Mathews; one brother, Lorenzo Wells.
Rena leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Jenee’ Turner; two sons, William Wells, Hernezdas Turner; father, James Wells, Sr.; ten sisters, Claudia Muhammed, Ernestine Wells, Erma Dansburg (Jerome), Vivian Wells, Carolyn Kinchelow (Zearl), Shirley Wells, Johnnie Secrease (Ricky), Wendy Anderson – Young, Robbin Williams (Jimmy), Linda Anderson; four brothers, James Wells, Jr., Terrence Wells (Sonya), Walter Wells (Wilma) Jeffery Anderson; eight grandchildren, six grandsons, JaeMario Turner-Rodriquez, King Taylor, Justin Smith, Jermiah Gonzales, Jedidiah Turner, William Wells, Jr.; two granddaughters, Jae Miah Turner, JaeMela Turner, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
