Raymond M. Davis

Raymond Maurice Davis was born on January 15, 1971, in Kansas City, Kansas to Leroy T. Cheatham, Jr., and Zeita Davis-White. His grandparents, Joe C. Davis, Mae Dobbs, Jessie Mae Cheatham; Uncle Rodney Davis and Aunt Sheila Davis preceded him in death. Raymond was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District and received his General Education Diploma (GED). He accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized in 2005 in Wichita, Kansas. Raymond’s passion was baking and he loved to see the baked finished product he prepared from a recipe. Fond and loving memories will be cherished by his mother Zeita Davis-White (Robert); his father, Leroy T. Cheatham, Jr., (Theola); three daughters, Lakisha M. Scott (Steve), Chaneka Williams, KCK, Ra’Anne M. Davis, Greensboro, NC; five brothers, Mark Acklin, Atlanta, GA; Mario Davis (Benita) KCK; Darryl Williams (Tammie) El Sobrante, CA, Jaymar Sheppard (Courtney) Overland Park,KS; Joseph Sheppard (Mahogany) Grandview, MO; and Jasen Cheatham, Los Angeles, CA; two granddaughters, Angel and KyAsia McDonald, a special friend, Tricia Hicks and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
