Louis Paul Washington, 67, passed away on December 30, 2019 at his home in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on January 7, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Louis Paul Isaac and Velma Washington.
He grew up in Little Rock Arkansas and graduated from Mann High School on June 2, 1971. After high school he joined the Army National Guard and Reserve in 1971 and served for 15 years. He achieved his PV-2. He began working for trucking companies as an Owner Operator and later retired in 2015. Louis received a Certificate of Completion for the Foundation Leadership Membership Class of Sheffield Family Life Center on April 1, 2007 and was a member of the choir. He married Carolyn Estell on March 24, 1999 in Falls City, Nebraska. They were happily married for 20 years.
He was preceded into death by is mother, Velma Washington; brothers, Ollie Lavell Brown, and Sherwood Brown; and his sister, Veronica Brown-Beasley.
He is survived by his father, Louis P. Isaac(Lillie M.); his wife, Carolyn Estell-Washington; their children, Kendra Holmes, Candace Hopper-Butts(Freddie), Marcus T. Jackson. Dori E. Price(Jamey). and William E. Jackson, his brother, Nathan Isaac(Marilyn); twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
