Everlean Brown, 84, passed away on November 1, 2019 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on March 1, 1934 in Skene, Mississippi to Lawrence Brown and Alice J. Brown. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Lincoln High School.
She began working for Allis Chalmer as a Line Assembler where she worked for 25 years and retired in 1996. She was a successful black business owner in KC. To name a few of her accomplishments: The Jazz City Records, The Jazzy City Pool Hall, Nineteenth Hole Night Club and The Flankers Lounge. She loved to play bingo, cooking and spending time with her family.
Everlean was preceded into death by her parents, Lawrence Brown Sr., Alice Brown; brothers, Albert Lee Brown, Lawrence Brown, Jr., sisters, Effie Lee Brown, Rosa Lee Fleming, Mary Ann Walker, great grandson, Marquise Ellingburg Williams.
She is survived by her son, Leonardo Brown; daughter, Alice Denson (Robert), brothers, Robert Randolph (Linda); Bertrand Randolph (Shelia); sister, Emma Howell; grandchildren, Edward Williams, Thomas Williams (Tameka), Elise Brown, Alice Denson (Michael), Lea Brown; great grandchildren, Arthur Williams, Mian’na Denson, David Denson, Tru’Monte Williams, Levelle Denson, Tre’Major Williams, A’mia Williams, Malia Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
