Cheryl Yvette Williams was born on October 31, 1967 to Russell Williams and Mary Louise Williams. Cheryl was educated in the Richmond Public School System and graduated from Armstrong High School in Richmond, Virginia. She attended and graduated from the University of Virginia.
Cheryl always worked in excellence and she had paid great attention to details. Earlier in her career, she worked at Life of Virginia insurance company before relocating to the St. Joseph/ Kansas City metropolitan area. Cheryl was also blessed to work for the Mosaic of St. Joseph for over 24 years. She enjoyed her work and co-workers were just like family.
In 2002, she met Patrick Williams and on August 16, 2003 they married and have shared 16 joyous years together with their son, Micaiah J. Williams (11). Cheryl was an active member of Memorial Church International under the leadership of Apostle and Pastor Aiken. She served faithfully as a member of the MCI Finance Ministry, PowerFeast, Armor Bearer Ministry and along side her husband on the MCI Victory Call. Cheryl loved God, she loved life, she loved family and she enjoyed spending time with friends. She loved to laugh and sometimes, she would laugh until she cried as her smile brightened up the room.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick “Todd” Williams; one son, Micaiah Williams; her mother, Mary Louise Williams; one sister, Joanne Williams; three nieces, Jessica Williams, Jennifer Williams and Joy Reed(Ramont); a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; mother- in- law, Etta Williams; sister and brother- in- law and other relatives and friends.
