Brodus Jerome “B.J.” Harris was born January 10, 1960 to the union of Melvin & Eunice Harris. He was the youngest of three children and the “baby-boy”. Brodus was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri and Portsmouth, Virginia School Districts. He graduated from Paseo High School in 1978.
Bj was a jack of all trades. He was the neighborhood mechanic; he could fix or build almost anything. He was also a talented artist; who could draw and play the guitar.
Bj loved people. He loved to entertain and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He had a big heart and loved animals. Bj loved to fish and he loved his Kansas City Chiefs! But of all things he was best known for his charm and sense of humor and devotion to his family.
Brodus departed this earthly life on Thursday, September 5, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents. His beloved pets (Sandy, Bo, & Tuka), and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his sisters Sandra McGee (Wilbert) and Donna Williams; two nieces, Latrice Williams and Rachelle Henry; two nephews, Alan Williams Jr. and Anthony McGee; a special cousin, Keith Greenfield, a brother in-law, Alan Williams Sr.; and host of great nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
